A digital photo frame adds a constantly changing decorative touch to your home. The photos change according to your wishes, so you can view portraits, holiday snaps or stunning landscape shots depending on your mood and the tone you want to set. Some frames even play back videos and sound.
The main points to take into account when you buy a photo frame are the size, screen resolution, connectivity, photo storage space and file format compatibility. The minimum size recommended for a digital photo frame is 7” to display 4”x6” photos. However, larger frames are available with displays of 10”, 15” and 20”.  The higher a frame’s screen resolution, the sharper photos will appear. You’ll need high-definition photos that take up a lot of storage space though. There are several types of connectivity options to transfer and display photos, including a USB port and a memory card (SD, MMC, Memory Stick etc.); WiFi or Bluetooth allow you to transfer files wirelessly from your computer. Internal storage capacities generally vary between 128 MB and 1 GB. Different digital photo frame models can play back images, videos and sound in different formats.
