1. Application of the General Terms and Conditions of Sale

The general terms and conditions of sale outlined below (hereafter known as "General Conditions"), govern the contractual relationship between any user of the website and PIXMANIA, a joint-stock company with a capital of €13,000,000 and headquarters situated at2-8 rue Sarah Bernhardt - Immeuble O2 - CS 50005 - 92 665 ASNIERES SUR SEINE CEDEX , France, registered on the Registre du commerce et des sociétés de Nanterre (Register of Companies and Commerce) under the number B 352 236 244 (hereafter known as "PIXMANIA PRO"). These general terms and conditions are the only ones applicable and replace all other conditions, except in the case of express written consent. PIXMANIA PRO may be occasionally obliged to modify certain provisions of its general conditions. Therefore, it is necessary to re-read the terms and conditions before each purchase on the site. We consider that by confirming your order, you have read and accepted our general conditions of sale without reserve.

All orders placed by the customer imply the full acceptance of the present general conditions of sale. Any clause accompanying a customer's order, or any other document which is in opposition to, or which adds a new element to the present general conditions (such as the general conditions of purchase by the customer), will not be accepted by PIXMANIA-PRO.

2. Prices and Discounts

The products sold by PIXMANIA-PRO are billed in Euros or in local currency and without tax (under the condition that you provide us with a conforming intercommunity VAT number: see Article 18), at the price quoted on the day of the registration of the order by PIXMANIA-PRO. It does not include delivery charges, under the condition that the delivery is not prolonged by the Client. PIXMANIA-PRO reserves the right to modify its price at any time and in compliance with current laws. For the European Union, prices shall appear in Euros on the Site as well as in the currency of the destination country. In certain cases, products supplied in a currency other than the Euro, and with a trading variation superior to 3%, may have that variation reflected on the date of invoicing.

After acceptance of PIXMANIA PRO's present general conditions of sale, and acceptance as evidenced by voluntarily ticking the box attesting to the fact that the Client has read and approves of the said conditions, all PIXMANIA PRO clients can benefit from discounts, with the discount rate varying in relation to the product ordered.

All products marketed on PIXMANIA-PRO have a colour icon. Each colour code corresponds to a discount percentage:




Please note that discount percentages on all products are variable throughout a product's lifetime. The discount percentages applicable are those displayed on the site at the time you place your order.

3. Payment Conditions

Except in special conditions requiring a special agreement, PIXMANIA-PRO's payment conditions are as follows:

a) Order payment by bank card Visa, Maestro, MasterCard, American Express.
b) Bank Transfer
c) Payment should be made 30 days after the invoice date and is subject to conditions and preliminary agreement from the accounts services.

Any of these payment options must first be authorised by PIXMANIA-PRO's financial department.

4. Availability of products

Our products are offered while supplies last. The information on the availability of products comes directly from our suppliers and is provided to you at the moment an order is put through. We cannot be held responsible for any error or exceptional modification.
In the event that a product is not available after you have placed an order, we will inform you by email as quickly as possible so that you may cancel your order is said order is over 15 business days late.

5. Forwarding – Delivery – Delivery Charges

Upon receipt of your order, we recommend that you check to see if the products delivered conform to your order or indicate if they are damaged, where appropriate, when you sign for your delivery.

PIXMANIA-PRO decides on the mode of delivery except where if specially indicated by the client. The risks associated with delivery are the responsibility of the client.

The client can request an EXPRESS delivery (an order forwarded before 12 pm will be delivered in 24/48 hours). Chemical products are an exception to the EXPRESS delivery option. These options apply to the U.K only.

Our specialist 2-man transporter will contact you within 48 hours of Pixmania dispatching your order to them to arrange a suitable time and date (between Monday and Friday). Delivery usually takes 3-5 working days following the confirmation of your order. Delivery may take longer for areas that are not easily accessible.

The Client must, as of reception, inspect the parcels within the legal timeframe. Please note, conditions such as "acceptance conditional upon verification" or "acceptance conditional upon opening of wrapping" have no legal value with insurers or with transporters.

It is the Client's responsibility to provide proof of missing or broken articles.
PIXMANIA-PRO will strive to respect the stated delivery times, but cannot be held liable for interest and damages because of late delivery and cannot accept the cancellation of an order on that basis. An order made for articles not in stock may be the object of a longer period of delay or a cancellation.If you not receive your order within the given time frame, you must file a report with Pixmania-Pro no later than 30 calendar days following the dispatch of the parcel. An enquiry will be opened with the carrier. This may several days. Please enclose proof of ID and a sworn statement stating the delivery address and declaring that the parcel has not been received. Pixmania-Pro is unable to give details regarding further action while the enquiry is underway.

7. Claims

If the products received do not conform to the invoice, the Client must advise PIXMANIA-PRO immediately, or at the latest three days beginning with the date the order was received. A copy of the invoice must be attached to the Client's claim. Any claim based on the quality of a product must be accompanied by a specimen of said product containing the flaw as well as a sample still in its original packaging with the appropriate reference numbers for identification.
No claims will be processed that do not adhere to the above conditions.

8. Returns

Products must be returned in perfect condition, carefully packaged in their original state, with all of their accessories (e.g. CD-ROM, cables, user guides, etc.) and without any modifications to their reference and serial numbers. They must have their labels intact, along with any stamps or marks required for resale. Products must be returned to the After-Sales Service's returns centre in E-Merchant: Bâtiment B - Av. de la Commune de Paris, ZAC de la Maison Neuve, CP 91220, Bretigny sur Orge, France. Products must also be accompanied by a returns coupon and be sent by recorded delivery (e.g. transporter), regardless of whether they are the subject of a refund or a return to the After-Sales Service. If a product is returned without prior written authorisation from PIXMANIA-PRO, it will be automatically sent back to the Client at their expense.

9. Warranties and after-sales services

9.1 Manufacturer warranties

All products sold by PIXMANIA-PRO come with a 1-year “manufacturer warranty”.The term of these warranties can be extended, and coverage is defined by the product purchased and the brand.
Repairs to products, whether they are covered by warranty or not, are guaranteed by the manufacturer or certified workshop. Whether the brand has operations in the UK or is represented by a third party is irrelevant.

Defective or faulty products must be returned directly to manufacturers or certified workshops.

Should you be unable to contact the manufacturer, you may return your product via standard post (or carrier) to the address given on your returns coupon.
Returned products will not be accepted at the PIXMANIA head office.
PIXMANIA-PRO agrees to arrange repairs with its suppliers.
Whatever the problem, you must return your product along with a copy of the invoice, the warranty card (included in the original box) and the returns coupon.

Products are returned at the customer’s expense.

Product warranties sold by PIXMANIA-PRO do not cover:
- replacement of consumables such as batteries, light bulbs, fuses, antennas, headphones, microphones and recording heads,
- incorrect or inappropriate use of products.Please read the user manual supplied with your product carefully,
- malfunction due to accessories such as power cables,
- defects and consequences following repairs by a person non-certified by PIXMANIA-PRO,
- defects and consequences due the incorrect use of the product, e.g. commercial purposes,
- defects and consequences due to external causes.

Please note that warranties do not apply to repairs for damage due to external causes, e.g. accidents, shocks, power spikes, lightning, etc, or to the customer’s incorrect use of the product, e.g. product not installed in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions, detrimental use of product, use of product for commercial purposes, use of unsuitable peripherals, accessories or consumables, etc.

In all cases, PIXMANIA-PRO will not be held responsible if the manufacturer refuses to honour the warranty.
In such a case, the manufacturer will provide a quote for repairs.
Administration fees may be charged by the manufacturer if the customer refuses to pay for the repairs specified in the quote. Should the customer accept the quote, payment for the total amount of the quote should be sent to PIXMANIA via bank transfer.

9.2 Extended warranties by PIXMANIA-PRO

As well as the usual manufacturer guarantees, Pixmania-PRO offers extended warranties on a range of products available on its site.

Two types of warranty extension are available on Pixmania-Pro:

If your product develops a fault, Pixmania-PRO’s extended warranties cover labour, parts. If the product cannot be repaired, PIXmania-PRO will either exchange your product for another with similar specifications, or proceed with a full refund. If the Customer requests a full refund for the faulty product, the extended warranty is no longer valid.

Extended warranties do not cover the following:

Please note that the extended warranty provided by Pixmania-PRO does not apply if the model or serial number on the product has been changed.

10. Publicity and Display goods

Promotional and display material (catalogues, posters, etc.) may be given to customers for use by their company, and may only be used at the addresses authorised by PIXMANIA-PRO for the sale of its products.
The customer must not consider themselves as PIXMANIA-PRO's agent, as this would imply that they are acting on behalf of, or under the authorisation of PIXMANIA-PRO's management team. The terms "PIXMANIA-PRO agent", "PIXMANIA-PRO dealer" or "PIXMANIA-PRO shop" must be used in such a way that a third party will not be led to believe that PIXMANIA-PRO has an interest or a responsibility in the management of the customer's business. The brand "PIXMANIA-PRO" or "" cannot be used without prior written authorisation from PIXMANIA S.A.S. Customers who wish to advertise must consult the concerned PIXMANIA-PRO department beforehand to receive their approval.

11. Trademarks

Trademarks distributed by PIXMANIA-PRO are protected by current laws and international conventions.
As a consequence, neither Clients nor third parties can use trademarks without the express written consent of the trademark holder. It is understood and agreed that the acceptance of the present General Conditions is not in any way such an authorisation.

12. Insurance

To cover the risk of loss, of theft or other damages in transport that some of the products may be subject to, each party shall make provisions to cover such losses with its own insurance company.

13. Liability limits

No liability will be accepted for loss or damages, direct or indirect, whatever the cause.
In no case will the Client, for any reason, withhold funds from an invoice for an incomplete delivery or for defective goods.

14. Ownership of Property

PIXMANIA-PRO remains the owner of the merchandise delivered until the payment is made in full. A promise of payment is not considered full payment until said payment has actually been processed.
Any damage caused while in the possession of the client, should said client not have paid in full, is his responsibility.
Should the Client deliver merchandise to a third party that has not been paid for, he is advised to immediately inform PIXMANIA-PRO.

15. Cancellation of Sale

In the case of non-payment of a delivery after the deadline, the sale shall be considered void eight days after notification by registered letter with proof of reception. PIXMANIA-PRO will claim the concerned merchandise without delay, with all associated fees and risks being the responsibility of the Client. Returning said merchandise does not negate the possibility of interest and damages.

16. Late penalties

In accordance with current law, any sums paid after the due date of the invoice as per article 3 of the present document, will be subject to late fees. These fees will be calculated at one and a half times the bank rate and will be applied retroactively to the date of delivery of the products.

17. In the event of default

Should payment not have been made in full as of the stated deadline, all outstanding sums, regardless of deadline, will be requested immediately.

18. Applicable law – Attribution of jurisdiction

In the event of a failure to amicably resolve payment, all litigation involving PIXMANIA-PRO and its Clients will be settled exclusively in the Courts of Paris with the applicable law being French law. Certain products sold fall under the domain of strategic merchandise and cannot be exported without express written consent from PIXMANIA-PRO.

19. Opening a account

The Site is reserved for professional clients wishing to purchase products that are directly related to their activity and who have opened an account beforehand according to the following conditions.

When the client first opens an account on, they agree to provide the following information before placing their first order:
- a VAT registration certificate
- a certificate of incorporation for private limited companies
- a copy of the company's invoice

In addition to this information, the client also agrees to provide the following for each order:
- a professional email address
- a landline telephone number (place of work or home) on which they can be reached during normal opening hours.

Finally, the client must also provide the exact contact details for the individual that PIXmania-Pro may contact if necessary. Pursuant to the law concerning IT and Freedoms, the processing of personal information must be declared to the "Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés" (National Commission for IT and Freedoms). The contact appointed by the client will have the right to permanently access and modify this information, as stipulated in article 39 of the law dated 6 January 1978.

20. Service PIXmania-Pro

Without prejudice to applicable legal guarantees, Pixmania-Pro offers a service called "The Zen Engagement".


The Zen Engagement
Products that come under the Zen Engagement are marked when you place your order on Pixmania-Pro.

If you wish to use the Zen Engagement, you must register for it when you pay for your product.



The Zen Engagement is a contract that allows you to be fully refunded if your product breaks down within the first 12 months following the date of purchase.

You don't have to wait for your product to be repaired; Pixmania-Pro will issue a coupon, which you can use to buy the same product or any other product from Pixmania-Pro's catalogue.


You may only use this service once.

If your product breaks down within the first 12 months following the date of purchase, you will receive a refund for the total amount you paid for the product (excluding shipping fees). The refund will be made in the form of a coupon, valid for 3 months on all the products in Pixmania-Pro's catalogue.


In the event of a problem, simply return your faulty product to us, ensuring the returns coupon is duly completed and signed.


Products must be returned to Pixmania-Pro in their original condition, including all accessories (CD-ROM, cables, user manual, etc), so that Pixmania-Pro may carry out checks on the origin of the fault. Following these checks, we will send you a purchase coupon for the total amount you paid for your product.



The cost for this service will vary depending on the type and price range of the product concerned (excluding delivery fees and instant discounts). You will be told the cost before placing your order.
