The HVR-A1E is fitted with a 2-megapixel CMOS sensor in 4:3 format that delivers HDV content on 1,080 lines. You can choose the recording format (HDV, DVCAM and DV) to suit your production needs and transfer easily from SD to HD. You can also take still pictures with your HVR-A1E with a maximum size of 2.8 MB (1920 x 1440 pixels). The HVR-A1E also offers advanced audio recording functions with a built-in stereo microphone and two XLR inputs for external microphones. An external microphone is included for added versatility to suit all your production demands. You can enjoy a wide variety of options even in confined spaces with the Sony HVR-A1E HDV camcorder.
