Criteria to meet:

The brightness rate is measured in "ANSI lumens". 600 ANSI lumens is the minimum required to watch a film in the dark, and 1000 ANSI lumens are needed in a semi-dark environment.

The contrast rate is also an important factor to consider. The higher the contrast rate, the larger the range of light, dark and white tones.

The quality of an image is determined by its resolution, which is measured by the density of pixels used. A high resolution allows for a reduction in the visibility of pixels on the screen - a phenomenon which has been observed recently on LCD projectors. When choosing a video projector, the user must also bear in mind its connection system. Most projectors come with composite video and S-Video inputs and YUV video inputs. This is because these types of connections remain the best solution for connecting a compatible DVD player. Nowadays, many projectors equally have new digital connectors such as DVI or HDMI inputs. Finally, a PC input is essential for professional demonstrations.
